Hi all
Need to make my decision soon so just the final hurdle to get over.
I'm going for an Engineered Oak - same board throughout downstairs which is 62msq, so I don't really want to make the wrong decision

I have heard that Lacquered finish is quite hard wareing, but if you do break the lacquer surface it is really hard to repair.

Oiled is less hard wareing, but is much easier to repair.

I'm sure there are many others I am not aware of though.
Any advise is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Huw
