Problem removing door handle

So I'm trying to remove my bedroom door handle which I'd like to replace.
I've removed the face plate screws but can't disconnect the handles.
I've looked under each handle and I see no allen key hole.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

There should be nothing else holding the handle,you'll just have to give it a good tug, although the mortice lock locks well out for some reason?

bet the spindle was knocked on,you might have to get a scrap bit of timber and gentle lever it off.

I've just painted around it for the time being, will try some brute force when it dries (I took the lock out to see if that would help, obviously not!)
