Hi , I recently had a power cut , and the alarm no longer seems to work,
I enter my code but this does not activate the alarm, the power light is on and the led light works on the keyboard. the motion sensor is working what has gone wrong ? just one thing I noticed when we had the power cut that the power light weakened to the point it went out !!!

battery is located in the big white box, replace like for like.

Enter the engineer code, open control panel lid, remove the red and black leads from the old battery, replace with new, close control panel lid. CAREFULL AROUND THE MAINS!!

Remember to exit engineer mode.

Should find a manual for this on the net as its a low end system

Simples ;)

Thanks ,what is the engineer code ? will i find this when i open it up or will it be in the manual ? Thanks

as its a 9448 you should not need the engineer code,

just open the panel
then enter your code, to silence the tamper alarm
remove battery
replace battery
close the lid,
enter code

all done

Replaced with new battery , Thank you ( Alarm) followed your instructions
just needed to enter my code to reset , was careful with the lid tamper spring
now working fine . thanks for everyones input.

it does show that we DO know what we are talking about, (even we already know anyway).

I'm sure the GP know that anyways oasis, but we're always going to come up against the odd muppet thats gonna argue black is white.

Thanks OP, it is appreciated when you give us the end result.

You two are too vain, you know your right and still want warm air gently blown up your...............:p
