Hi I had a spotlight bulb blow in the bathroom at the weekend, so I replaced it with a new boxed one but that didn't work either!

I can't remember without checking the loft for the transformer if these are mains or low voltage but the old bulb says 230V 50W GU10+C on it.

The bulb I replaced it with says 240V 50W GU10, but doesn't have the +C, whatever that means.

Can anyone advise please? :?
