problem with vauxhall combo 1.7dti

hello, i wonder if anyone can help me,
i just did a small service on the van i just bought changed the oil oil filter and air filter,
then took it for a drive and it wouldnt go over 2000rpm, and then after a couple of minutes it all went normal again but the spanner inside the car light came up
any ideas what this could be

check egr.

if you disconnected any wiring to the air filter box when you changed it check this first, if not then the egr valve is a good shout. I usually try to clean out my cars egr at every service.
Was it ok before you did the service?
