Hi all,
I have a macerator with a non return valve attached, but every couple of weeks, the rubber washer on the valve that seals the backflow breaks and starts allowing water to seep back into the macerator, setting it off every 15 minutes. This has happened 5 times now. Any ideas why it's doing that?
My suspicions are that there is a blockage down the pipes somewhere and that's causing a really high pressure build up, but should that be enough to keep breaking the washer every 2 weeks?
Thanks
Ollie
