Hello DIYnot community I'm posting today for help to find out what kind of fault my boiler is having and how much is it likely to cost me to call British gas or similar engineer to fix
the symptoms are that the hot water keeps running cold, goes hot, cold, hot, cold... when i say hot its not that hot you can keep your hand under it at all times the hot water stat on the boiler is a max.
also the boiler keeps switching off, a red light appears but it will come back on if i turn the main selector to off and back on, when i do this the red light flashes 4 times then the yellow light comes on til i turn it back to on [heating + hot water] then the green comes on, hope that makes sense? i took video footage to explain it better

the boiler manual has fault finding section [photo] but means little to me -any help much appreciated for when i call the boiler repair chap and i might be able to get a idea of costs
