Hi Guys

Please advise . .

As part of an Inner City Regeneration Scheme we recently got a little financial help towards (among aother things) the installation of a Worcester 30 CDi Boiler & new rads plus a Triton Capella thermostatic mixer shower. And I am grateful for that financial assistance, but,

When showering now, if another hot tap (or maybe washing machine hot filling ?) in the house is turned on, the shower pressure visibly lessens until that other hot tap is closed again. (Temperature ok though)

I don't know why but I didn't expect that to happen. Is that normal ? Can anything be done to make the shower a constant pressure ?

P.S. F.Y.I. The Installation paperwork left by engineer states Mains water pressure to be 13 Ltr/min, however I filled a 1 litre pop bottle in 3 seconds with cold tap full open. (20 Ltr/min ?) Also, all Service valves to shower and all taps are in fully open position.

TIA & keep up the good work,

Carl

combi boilers can only deliver a limited amount of hot water so your boiler is working as intended, not much you can do exept make sure nobody draws hot water while your in the shower. i always make sure my customers understand this before i install, combis are just not good enough to supply 2 taps at the same time.
