Hi all

Im looking to undertake a plumbing with a view to changing career.

Whats the best course around for a newby, costs and usefulness.

Ive found a few courses City and Guilds of London Institute (CG), Domestic Plumbing Studies at the Manchester College or via train 4 trade skills.

Anyone done either of the above courses?

any info will be greatly appreciated.

many thanks

I did the train 4 trade skills course and found it very good.
The staff and tuition at ATL (the practical part of the course) were fantastic.
But like any course you have to work at it to get something out of it..
So don't just belive you take the course and that is it you are a plumber..
You are learning all the time with the way things progress and improve..
This course was the one for me as i could not afford to pack in my job so the distance learning suited me. Hope this helps..
Ps have been self employed now for 2 years and would not go back..
