I have an oil boiler which is located in the garage along with a frost stat, a timeclock in the utility room and a dial type thermostat in the hallway. I'm thinking of changing the thermostat for a programmable one.
The timeclock controls the hot water times (megaflow tank). Obviously the programmable stat would control the heating and not the hot water. What do I do about the timeclock? Switch the heating side to on all the time and let the stat do the controlling?
