I have had a new Greenstar boiler installed and also a british gas RC PLUS programmable timer fitted as well.
I cant for the life of me get it setup how i would like.
Basically what i require is for the heating to come on at 07.00 & switch off at 08.00 @ 20 degrees every day of the week.
I have changed the number of programe events per day from 6 to 2 ok.
In the operating modes you have an option for 24hour = same times for each day of the week or 5:2 / 7 day option.
Which ever i select i dont get the option for switch on at required time/temp then switch off at required time.
What i think i get is switch on at required time/temp THEN adjust heating at the second setting time/temp,ie first setting input 07.00 @ 20 degrees second setting input 10.00 @ 8 degrees,so it is just reducing the temp at 10.00am to 8 degrees down from 20 degrees.
The instructions give you so many examples of what it can do just makes an easy setup hard as it confuses the issue,or for me anyway.
I have attached a photo of the timer in question and any help would be welcomed in getting it sorted.
Thanks very much.
