Recently i have been re-plumbing a whole house and its new extension. The customer just had a new big combi fitted and is now wanting a programmer of some sort.

The boiler as it is has no time related controls on board although it has a blanking plate for on board timer, customer wants to be able to control it from the living room as the boiler is in the utility room.

As the boiler is a combi and doesn't need hot water to be programmed can a programmable room stat just be fitted?

If so any recommendations?

Volt free is what is needed.

SIME eComfort 35kw is the boiler.

Wireless might be considered/needed also.

I think the best and easiest to use at present is the Honeywell CM927RF.

Can be volt free or 240VAC, depending how you wire the base unit.
