Property maintenance?

It's a broad term. Builder/handyman/chippie/painter & decorator all do property maintenance. Many trades on here, why the question?

Finding myself getting slowly drawn into it, just wondering if general maintenance is worth getting into.

What are you doing now?
Got a van/car? Got tools? Skills?

What specifically do you want to know?

One for trade talk methinks.

Thats the thing , I was plumbing/pipe fitting but after embarking on a restoration job I have been approached by people do do different jobs on period propertys, I was going to dive in and start doing general work specialising in period propertys using traditional methods and materials.
I am by no means experienced enough to do everything so I was wondering if its a worth while venture.

Umm, Joe90 was a plumber pipe pipe fitter with fingers in many other pies as he described it! And he could not spell properties either!

Really? can you now please tell me who Joe90 was? I take it he was someone who took the **** a lot?

He is/was you. Please don't expect us to believe that you joined this forum in 2009 and do not know who he is.

try searching my posts, I came here in 09 to get info on roofing and then didnt really use the forum at all , perhaps in the plumbing and electrics sections from time to time.
Dude if I were Joe90 I would simply say so.
Hang on , let me have a look in my ''joe90'' pocket , nope , sorry , its empty.

I didnt know who you were until a few days ago and you have been here for ever.

Ive been searching his posts because he has been brought up. You do surprise me sometimes, really you do.

The difference between Joe-90 and That Bloke is that Joe-90 knows what he's talking about as he's been doing multi-trade work for decades. ;)
