People,

I have just had some black plastic guttering fitted to the exterior of my property. It is nice and shiny and I wish to keep it that way. All the neighbours guttering seems to have faded quickly.

Can anyone advise on an easy to apply product (preferably sprayable) which will protect the guttering for long periods but will not stain brickwork.

Cheers

It will all fade and you can't coat it to stop it.

Some brands will fade quicker than others and some batches of the same brand too will too.

If you wanted no-fade, you should have used cast aluminium or iron

Cheers Woody, I was considering the use of 303 Aerospace protectant

Whatever that is!

Does it stick to this type of plastic and cope with the expansion contraction, frost/thaw and flexing?
