I have a problem with a proton wira 1600 approx year 2000.
On cold mornings it starts up more like a tractor. Uneven running
very little power. Not free revving. Exhaust makes
more of a pop pop noise. This all started suddenly one day but seems to
do it reliably on a cool morning start. Other starts during the day are fine.
After about 5 minutes warming up it then runs fine.
I have so far swapped the spark plugs, adjusted valve clearances and
changed the engine temperature sensor.
Suggestions on what else it could be?
