Hi

I'm looking for a new drop tight PRV, to go on 22mm vertical pipework for inlet pressure between 6 - 10 bar.

Just wondering whether anyone has any good words to say about either the
Reliance Water Control Compact 312 (looks to have been discontinued) or
one of the PRVs from Altecni / Caleffi.

The problem with Altecni is it looks like only the most expensive models (535/535H) look to be drop tight.

Is there any advantage to getting one with threaded / unions on the inlet/outlet rather than 22mm compression fittings? Are PRVs with threaded connections more a commercial thing?

Thanks Rich

PRV can mean a Pressure Regulator Valve or it can mean a Pressure Relief Valve

You probably know which you need.
