I'm laying some laminate in my house soon, are all flooring pull bars the same are of some better than others?
ps i'm a bit of a tool snob

Some are better than others.
You can get some that are a little longer in length, the gauge of the metal is also greater and have a decent size knocking block at the end that can take some stick.
They for hardfloors really but do an excellent job with the laminate, they normally offer a bit more leverage too, if you need to lever out in.

Can't remember where I got mine from, could have been floors2go. :eek:
But I am sure if you visit or google, some local laminate and real wood floor suppliers/stockist they will have them amongst their fitting tool range.
I think wickes do a version.

Smaller block and bit of timber as a lever?

Or use the hammer sideways :oops:
 
sideways hammer and a small block, all in the 10mm gap between the wall and that very last bit of flooring, you really are an impressive guy
 
I use a toffee hammer for these small gaps

Won't the skirting cover the 10mm expansion gap to the wall?
