Pull cord allowed in zone 2?

Hi

Can someone please clarify if the pull cord for an electric shower is allowed to be in zone 2 of a bathroom. ie, the switch itself is out of the zone but the cord is not.

Insulating cords of cord operated switches can indeed hang inside Z2. Providing the body of the switch is wholly outside the zones, that's OK.
