For heavens sake man you can't even get that rightAnyway, in terms of the point we've both made, it is certainly true that Sunray was the first one to mention (the concept of) distillation, even though he didn't seem to realise that he had![]()

What can't I get right? For heavens sake man you can't even get that right

... that raises an interesting, almost semantic, question. Whilst it is Tue that Chemistry and chemists make a lot of use of distillation, I think I would describe is as Physics, rather than Chemistry - although I accept that the two disciples ultyimately converge, anyway.

Insurers won't pay when your house burns down because you changed a pull cord? What exactly is an MK unscrewable doobries? This kind of heavy duty modding is the perfect excuse for the insurer to not pay when your house burns down.

What's the difference between a bottle top and a pregnant wo....Well, some things can be screwed up that are not intended to be unscrewed... They are tamper proof.
I think it's very much on the borderline, particularly given ....I thought about that too. In the end I decided that it was Chemistry governing the behaviour of a compound when heated.
As I said, in the final analysis, as when gets down to molecular, atomic or sub-atomic levels, the two disciplines converge, so everything really becomes "Physics". Indeed, if one is of a "deterministic" frame of mind, then everything which happens in the universe, including the behaviour and 'thinking' of human beings, ultimately becomes a matter of particle Physics!Prof. Google suggests I might be wrong. Or at least not entirely right.
A clue to the answer may be in his/her usernameAre you OK?

Interesting video of people using supercritical CO2 to make carbonated water & foods.I think it's very much on the borderline, particularly given ....

Do determinism and quantum mechanics make happy bedfellows?if one is of a "deterministic" frame of mind, then everything which happens in the universe, including the behaviour and 'thinking' of human beings, ultimately becomes a matter of particle Physics!
As I understand it, not really, since the latter very much deals with 'uncertainty', which is really the antithesis of determinism.Do determinism and quantum mechanics make happy bedfellows?
