I looked in the 17th edition in section701, locations containing a bath or shower and could not find any information concerning pull cord switches, I might miss it or may be it is not there.
I looked at this one several times, I cannot see any exception that will allow pull cord, I am asking because in the 16th it was allowed in zone 2. I still cannot see it if you do can you be more specific?
talked today to NAPIT, they agree that there is no mention of pull cord switch for bathroom, the meaning is that this type of switch is not allowed in a bath unless is 3m away as any other switchgear (except SELV etc.).
maybe the long awaited OSG will come with a different answer...
