Similar to the previous posting, I am replacing a Bathroom Pull Switch. The old switch (a Crabtree 1 way) has L1 (COM 2 WAY) with RED & GREY Wires, L2 with RED Wire, L3 & L4 have no terminals, EARTH with Green/Yellow Wire & 2 Black Wires into a terminal block. The new switch has L1, L2, COMM and EARTH terminals. Is the correct connection L1 RED; L2 empty; COMM RED & GREY Wires; EARTH Green/Yellow; 2 Blacks into block.

red grey and black.. sound like one red is actually brown sleeved red?

natural red and grey into COM..
sleeved red into L1...

this is wired for a bathroom with a fan that runs on yes?

grey wire will be perm live to fan..
