Pump sticking - taking it apart

Hi

Having issues with a 3 year old Wilo pump sticking, probably due to sludge as I'm currently cleaning the system out with X800, then changing the pump to a new Grundfos when completely clean

Just want the pump to run for a few more days before I change it

If I take the pump apart & clean out the sludge do I need any compound when fixing the pump back together or shouldn't it be a simple case of putting it back together nothing else?

Should be ok to just put it back together. Clean the surfaces and any seals and smear with a bit of silicone grease and it should be sound.

Should the surfaces be smeared & seals or just the seals?

Would this grease do the job?

A smear on all surfaces will be good. Your link grease will be ok.
