pump terminology

hey guys,

i've been asked to check a pump for a dhws that tripped its overload relay today. Cant find anything wrong electrically so I suspect pump is getting on a bit. Its a BOSS pump with a twin head

Model: Type GLSD 40-50F

other numbers on it are

FLC(A) P1(W)
0.66 140=1
0.68 148=2
0.72 160=3

I cant seem to find much on net about it so Im after advice of what Im looking at here.
What do the 40-50 numbers mean?
The other numbers I thought may have something to do with speed settings but I don't recall seeing any speed adjustments?
If exchanging do i just try to match as best as possible?

It is actually a Grundfos Pump badged BOSS (for Wholesaler BSS)
UPSD 40-50 designates the size & duty head of the pump
FLC(Full Load current) indicates the motor current in Amps at the three speed settings
Speed adjustment is effected by moving a multi pin plug under the terminal box cover

You will need to find out if the pump is 230Vac 1 phase or 415 Vac 3 pahse
this will be on the data plate with all the other stuff you have recored

Speak to your nearest BSS branch , you may be able to get replacement heads for the pump which would be cheaper than replacing the whole thing

so what does the size and duty mean? is this related to how much flows? so eg 40-50 litres/min or is that totally wrong LOL

have other bigger versions on site also and these have the speed adjustments but dont remember seeing them on this one. Will check again 2moro

its single phase 230V

40 = 40mm bore
50= pump head in KPa
F= Flanged

If its on DHWS it should be bronze or stainless
