push button/click clack basin plug replacment

ive got a push button basin waste simmilar to this type of thing

the thread on the silver plastic plug part has stripped which means i cant screw it into the spring loaded threded bolt theat sits in the waste

Does any one know if its possible to get a replacment plug and where i might be able to get one so i dont have to replace the whole waste?

Can you get one exactly the same and only use the worn top bit?
