Push fit waste leaking

It's the O ring not located correctly. Will it be ok if I can get it aligned properly? Any tips - I guess twisting and pulling back but it's all very tight. It's 50mm Brett Martin, been in 2 years.

After 2 years I suspect the seal will be deformed by now, any attempt to undo and remake the joint will just cause further problems. I'd advise replacing the joint if possible.
 
Good call. O ring far too stretched. Managed to squeeze a compression coupling on.

What else would you suggest then? If its push fit pipework, then you cant do much else other than fit either another push fit coupling or a compression joint on it. Seen worse jobs on Urinals. If it's repaired and now doesn't leak, then job done.
