Ok so today I fitted the new pump took quite a whle as I re located it as well, but when I came to connect the pump to the pipe work I 'push' the push fit hose connector on the pipe work and screw the other part of the hose to the pump.

But for some reason water is leaking out of the push fit side  what the hell have I done wrong?

I put the in line pipe inserts (the little mesh thing) on the feed side I assume that is correct?

have you damaged the rubber seal in the pushfit.
is it copper or plastic pipework ?

Well I re cut the pipe which connects to the push fit and bingo no more leaks, must have been a crap cut
