Great site. I am installing some new bathroom bits, including a thermostatic mixer. I intend to use the Pushfit pipes, tees, etc. Are there any special joints for connecting to a thermostatic mixer?
Thanks

Just my opinion from when I fitted mine a couple of months back (I'm in no way an expert!)

I used compressions as mine are in a stud wall and are consealed until they exit the wall and enter the mixer.

That way, once they are done and they dont leak under pressure, you can be reasonable sure that they wont suddenly blow off one day whilst you are in lanzarote and deposit 2 weeks of mains pressure H2O all aover your bathroom.

Contrary to what I've seen people write, if they are done properly, compression fittings are quite secure. (I hope that comment dont come back to bite me one day!!!) :?

If perchance you intend to connect to a chrome pipe from a pushfit then don't. They slip off and flood you out!!

Use compression!

Your mixer should have compression fittings to connect to copper .... you can connect plastic to there if you want but dont forget to use the inserts
