Quick question - are the various makes of pushfit compatible?

Or is it best practice to stick to one range?

Quick answer, NO! Solvent weld compatible across manufacturers, push fit isnt. Use compression if necessary to join different manufacturers products.

stick with one as they aren't exactly the same

have previous bad experiences with JG Speedfit - crumbling fitting on hot services and Hep2O grip rings breaking and pipes popping even with inserts

my apologies, i should have been more accurate,

I meant the plastic supply speedfit couplings. I ordered a load online but needed a couple of extra 90 deg angles and didn't want to pay postage on them - but I guess I will.

thanks for your answers

Do a yell search on local suppliers fella  If you only need a couple take your elbow to merchant and ask for 2 more saves you postal costs.... and quicker 8) Don't mix and type of plastic pipe/fittings you are asking for trouble....
