Hi all
I have an 1891 Victorian 4 storie building with 4/5 roofs running in different lead water catchment basins which in turn run the water out to the down pipes.
The lead at most of the joints have sprung and are allowing water to come in.
I could get a company to lead weld them, but it very expensive (I mean there is a lot to do)
Would it be possible to lay roofing felt ie stick down on top of the lead as a quick fix.

Thanks in advance

Sorry its not possible to get any pics (I cant get up that high)
But if you can imagine two roofs coming together, at the bottom where they meet there is a space of about 1ft which is lined in lead and runs to the outside edge of the building, then the water drops from there into the downpipe.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
