We have a garage where we removed the asbestos ceiling. Now we are going to plaster it with fire proof plasterboard and put insulation in. Given we are putting insulation and boarding from below(the garage). What's the best way to put in insulation . Should I secure it with string and then or boards on?

Tips?

You can buy plastic mesh like fruit/bird mesh from wilko's and staple to joist as you put your insulation in between the joist. That will hold the insulation in place

I found it easier to put up one board, then post the insulation in from the open end. Put on gloves, and make sure you wear something that covers your arms!

Just wedged some old timber. Seemed to work. Thanks all
