Garage conversion

Another question about the breather membrane that Celotex recommends behind their insulation if you have a single skin brick wall. I presume the purpose is to keep any water that permeates through the wall off of the insulation?

My garage is attached to my house on one side and attached to neighbours garage on the other, front has a large garage door (which I'm sealing/insulating) and rear exposed to back garden. So only the rear wall is exposed to the elements.
I'm insulating the rear and the side attached to neighbours garage. Do i need a breather membrane on both or only the rear?


Also, where can I buy it? I can only find roofing breather membrane, is that ok? How can I attach it to the walls?
