Putting up shelves in firewall in the loft

Hello folks,

Is it okay to install simple wooden shelves on the firewall in the loft? My house has a shallow hipped roof and the firewall wall is the only area in the loft that has reasonable height for storage. This wall is also a party wall.

The shelves are to store some empty boxes, random tools etc. The shelves will be planks (of some suitable material) mounted on simple wall brackets.

No problem;
it's just like fixing shelves on the party wall in your lounge or bedroom.

Though maybe do it when the neighbours gone out and take care if its only single skin!
