Hi
Just bought a house with old radiators and great wooden flooring.
I want to replace the radiators and add valves to the copper pipes coming from under the floor.

I'd prefer not to lift up the floor.. so what steps do you recommend for me to:

1)Remove radiators
2)add valves to copper pipes

How do I go about stopping the water from the flow pipe.

Thanks

Er, the valves would normally fit into the rads, and the pipes go down from the valves.

There should be drain point(s). If not, or you want to get more/all the water out use a water-capable vac, You can blow/suck the lot dry quite easily.
(£30 or so, Wickes, take the filter out or you'll spray water out of the exhaust).
