Ok..

Finally found the right page of my DIY bible.

After reading it I now understand what the difference is between a direct and indirect system.

However mine does not fit the picture with EITHER system. ARGHHHHH

Quite simply I have 3, yes 3 pipe connections the the cylinder. The book says I should have 2 for direct OR 4 for indirect.. so whats going on with 3 ???

[code:1]

(This has to be my hot water)

Ok so taking into account what I have above, what is it ? DIRECT OR INDIRECT.... Does this stupid layout explain what my heating tends to come on when hot water is on... ?
