Pyronix 485 fault

I have put a new panel in and a wired keypad. I did this on the old panel no problem.
I keep getting a fault saying 485 fault and the location i named it. 2 questions, I have now disconnected it but the fault won't clear.
How should I have set it up?

Sure you will all get fed up with me!!!
I have got rid of the fault it wasn't assigned/address. But, when i put a key fob up to it it beeps but does nothing, it's set for all zones.
Also when entering after full set I get a countdown on the main panel but no sound. Where's the setting for that?

Have you programmed the fob onto the system ?
Volume gives entry and exit volume for each part set plus other volumes eg chime …is this a domestic set up with part sets ? If so enable level set in options

Fobs work on main panel to set and unset. Level is set to 1
