qualified electricians and competent persons(old/new regs)

thanks very much Steve you have kinda anticipated my thinking anyway .I want to try to get it all finished soon before part p comes into play ,notwithstanding this I of course will get a qualified electrician to check all my work anyway.A little further down the line ,when and if, i decide to sell I will get an electrician who is registered with the appropriate body to issue certificate or whatever to ensure smooth sale etc.
