hi, recently visited customer with new bathroom but has poor water flow to hot water taps(sink & bath).customer had bg replace leaking cylinder & gate valves but no change to flow rate. BG engineer said quarter turn taps that were fitted were for high pressure systems( customer has fully pumped ). Unable to change taps from underneath & customer doesn t want bath removed. Does anyone know if u can change barrels on taps to increase flow rate, provding they are compatable.(be the way customer unable to get first plumber back surprise ! surprise!)many thanks.

Do you mean a fully pumped central heating system? The customer has a gravity hot water system, heated by a fully pumped CH, by the sound of it. This will give poor flow at high pressure taps.

If he is your customer, you should know what you are doing before attending.
