Hi - I'm currently planning out our kitchen which has a c3.6m island at the centre. We need a piece of Granite or Quartz to fit but we are struggling to find somewhere which sells a single slab of this length. The alternative is to have multiple slabs with a join.

Does anybody have experience of sourcing such a product?

    Thanks, Nick

    You're still waiting?

You'll have to google wholesalers locally, I'm afraid. We got a single piece of quartz at just under 4m last year, but that's in Edinburgh, which is as good as being on the moon if you're in Surrey.

So the good news is that it is possible to get them - you just need to find a local stockist. It wasn't cheap, either, by the way...
