Hello everyone, i am hoping someone can offer me some advice on quartz tiles.My wife has seen some black tiles with silver/mirror pieces in them(quartz i think) and i wondered what would be a reliable make and who can supply them.I have been on the internet and rang a few places and i am being quoted from £50 sqm up to £120 sqm.Can anyone tell me why the big difference in price.Also some are saying it has to be gulfstone.

there are good quality quartz and there are not so good quality quartz(just like any tile really)..depends on were the quartz is sourced from mate..
imho get the wife out and about go to tile shops..were am from you have cosmos/ctd/bellgrove/porcnarosla..etc.
if your going for quatrz or any tile you want to see it and feel it(not like looking at a pic oon the net)...
get a few sample tiles, take them home, put them in the room your tiling and see how they look in it(under your light not a shiny showrroom or pic).
also ask what addy grout should be used and prep work etc..
