Hi all.
I'm just in the process of building a garden office using SIPs. Soon I will need to batten out internally ready for dry-lining, but wondered if there are any specifications I need to be aware of in terms of minimum / maximum depth of wall / ceiling void for the cables to run in - and whether they need to be in conduit or similar? I'm not able to cut into the SIPs, so I'll need everything to be in the void I create.
I believe that technically the building is not covered by building regs as it is too small, but I'd like to comply with the regs as far as poss anyway by way of good practice.
I'm intending to batten-out with 25mm roofing battens or similar, so the void will be around 25mm.
Any input gratefully received.
