Like many I am concerned about loft insulation this time of year (picture below is from a few months ago, its worse now temp has dropped but it happens every year so am used to it by now)
I have read JohnD's post and am going to look at pulling back insulation from the eaves. My question though is what should I be looking for to make sure the eaves are suitably ventilated? I know literally nothing about eaves so what should I be looking for to confirm everything is as it should be? Is it a constant line of vents on the base where the roof reaches ground level? I have shown my roof below if it helps identify the 'type' of eaves
Any help is appreciated, I didn't even know what eaves were untill a few hours ago and have struggled to find what I'm looking for online
