Hi everyone, currently doing a full 1920s house renovation and im going to be insulating the bay window. Just wondered between the ground floor and top floor the face section is currently just plastic fascia on the outside and wood panel directly behind fixed to studs. im planning on installing celotex in-between the studs, foaming and taping and then insulated plasterboard on the inside over the top.
My question is do I need to leave an air gap behind the wooden panelling and the celotex in-between the studs.
Thanks any feedback is much appreciated.
