Quick Question, final coat on walls or stain skirting boards ?

or a coat of stain then final coat on walls then a coat of stain

Any other tips on making a good job of this gratefully received :D

You can finish the walls (after masking the skirting to avoid overspray) then sand the skirting and then stain that (more of a natural cutting in position)

Or.......

Finish the skirting mask it up and then do the walls...

Remember the filling, if any, between the gap from the wall to the skirting
do that before you stain

Fill them using coloured caulk...cuprinol do it in about 6 shades

Zampa, is this cuprinol caulk different shades of wood colours (ie oak) or colour colours (ie red!). Have you got any info on this product as I cant find it on thinternet. Who sells it? Ta John
 
Yep,,,it does indeed come in a few different coours to match most common wood shades

Try your local ICI/Dulux Trade branch...thats where I get mine.
