Quick question on finishing a splash back

Hi all,

I'm just finishing up our kitchen install with a metro tile splash back. The tiles are flat 200x100x7 in matt white, grout is Fugabella No4.
Is a 6mm trowel the right way to go? S1 Adhesive? Not too fussed about price, more convenience as I'm hoping to finish up asap.

Lastly, without sounding like a clown....I'm assuming you have to finish the top with a trim and not colour matched silicone. I'm intending to get a 10mm trim for the edges.

Apologies, just re read my post. Clearly I will use a trim for the top of the splash back, the question is for around the sash window and where the tiles meet the adjacent kitchen unit
