Quick Question - Paste used to pack around a thermistor?

Is this just the silver thermal paste you can buy from maplins for CPU's and Heatsinks? Cheers!

I usually buy my heat sink compound from Parts Center

Its not silver but white.

Its cheaper from Maplins I expect!

A few boilers do NOT want you to use transfer paste but these are shown in the MI.

I am replacing the thermistor and OH stat on a suprima 50. The existing thermistor is caked in white compound so wanted to pack the new one in with the same stuff. Thanks

On what reason do you suspect they are faulty.

id use heatsink n while ya changin them id chuck a new pcb on it! prob already had 1of them tho!!
