I'm currently prepping for a new patio.

I'm just looking for people's opinions on wether I should take out these old gulleys and replace them with new plastic gulleys or just leave them and pave around them?

Obviously new ones will look better but is it worth the hassle of digging out the old ones and replacing them if these work okay?

I'll be replacing all of the pipes to tidy them up abit

I've attached pics

Assuming the pipework to the existing gulleys will be clay it will not be a straightforward swap.

Do a visual check, if all looks ok, no signs of cracks, leaks or any other damage, I'd leave well alone. If unsure, or there is apparent damage, may be prudent to change them now, before laying new paving.
