Is there any reason I shouldn't use 32mm waste pipe from basin through external wall to gulley inlet. Total run under 1.5m. Other existing wastes are 40mm minimum.

Basins and Bidets can be run on a 32mm waste up to 1.7m, (can upsize to 40mm after that to max of 3m), anything else needs minimum 40mm.
