Ok. What’s the main cause of our blood being red. & things like cuttlefish (I think) octopus etc having blue blood.

spiders, and some sea creatures, do not have red blood, because it is not iron based, but copper.

I will guess that octopuses are the same, and the blood is actually dark green or blue (but never red) depending on what the copper compound is.
