One of those quiz questions - what did the Nazis call the swastika - it wasn't "swastika" or anything like it. ( yes I do know the answer!)
It's known as the 'Hakenkreuz' and that one at Upminster Bridge station was built into the floor before the Nazi's came to power "....the design certainly wasn't a nod to the fascists in Germany' the article ends. So the only link to Hitler is in the mind of the observer. It's a matter of opinion, in other words.
