Here’s a little picture quiz. Found these today in a tray of parsnip seedlings on on my allotment. Funnily enough, I had never heard of them before until yesterday when my daughter in law told me she had found some and told me what they were.
Leaf-cutting bees are solitary bees that use leaf sections to make nests. They are fascinating pollinators the sections they take from plants to make nests create interesting patterns and cause no serious harm.
